The initial visit will take about 1-1/2 hours. Once the assessment is complete, University Geriatricians work in collaboration with the patient's personal physician ensuring that the physician is fully informed about the patient's progress or status.

Our team works in collaboration with the patient's personal physician, ensuring that the physician is fully informed about the patient's progress or status. We assist patients and their families in locating programs and services that are geared to serving the needs of the elderly. This includes helping families decide when nursing home care is indicated.
